Immunotherapy treatment option for selected breast cancer patients, genetic study suggests

(Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute) Immunotherapy drugs could help some breast cancer patients based on the genetic changes in their tumors, researchers at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and their collaborators find. The results open up the possibility to another therapy option for around 1,000 breast cancer patients in the UK, who could benefit from existing drugs.
